Qualifications

• 3+ years in a managerial role (Shop Foreman / Lead Hand / Supervisor, etc.).
• Above-average computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members to achieve results.
• Basic understanding of service department financials and ability to analyze internal reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate job expectations, monitor results, and coach staff to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure manufacturer warranty procedures are followed by service staff.
• Create and monitor work/repair orders using business systems.
• Serve as main contact for customers and sales during scheduling, quotes and status updates.
• Create schedules and staffing based on priority and skill set.
• Monitor departmental efficiencies, budgets, and expenses.
• Participate in recruiting, staffing, and training plans for service staff.
