Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Service Manager for the Moncton branch to lead service operations across New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. You will manage teams in Moncton and Fredericton, develop staff, strengthen client relationships, and drive business growth through a strong customer service focus.

The role requires 3+ years in a leadership role within related industries, plus excellent communication and organizational skills. Travel across NB and PEI is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership in construction, roofing, facility or building maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong CRM and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction docs, specs, drawings is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Bluebeam/AutoCAD is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

• Oversee budgets, invoices, AR, and operational processes using Flynn systems.

A Day in the Life

• Lead and develop office staff and field teams based in Moncton and Fredericton, supporting service operations throughout New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners while helping drive business growth.
• Coach, mentor, and support employees while fostering accountability, collaboration, and a high-performing team culture.
• Review and approve estimates, proposals, pricing, and service quotations while ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Superintendents to coordinate workload, staffing, project schedules, and customer priorities.
• Represent Flynn at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and customer-facing activities.
• Manage departmental workflow, invoicing, accounts receivable, budgets, profitability, and operational processes utilizing Flynn systems and tools.
• Support employee development, performance management, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Champion Flynn's safety culture, operational procedures, and performance standards across both office and field teams.

• Travel throughout New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island to support customers, employees, project execution, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leadership experience within construction, roofing, facility management, property management, building maintenance, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Construction-related knowledge with experience reviewing estimates, specifications, drawings, or project documentation considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar construction software is an asset.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

$85,000 - $100,000 a year
