Job summary

VinFast Canada is seeking a Service Assistant in Langley to support the Service Centre team with daily tasks across Sales, Service and Delivery. You will assist the Service and Parts teams in servicing vehicles and handling customer interactions as VinFast expands across Canada.

• Luxury or EV industry experience preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Ability to stand 8 hours and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in Sales, Service, and Delivery with a customer-first approach.
• Support Service Department with daily tasks.
• Deliver vehicles between production, service and sales.
• Assist Parts Team with receiving, stocking, and delivery of parts.
• Improve service center productivity by supporting Advisors, Technicians, and Parts.
• Stage vehicles as needed; wash vehicles.
• Oversee lot organization and cleanliness.
• Provide vehicle pickup and delivery services for customers.
• Perform other admin and support duties as needed.

SCOPE OF THE JOB

As the Service Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting your Service Centre team with various day-to-day responsibilities. Your assistance will be required by the Service and Parts Teams to perform various functions, relating to the support of vehicle servicing and customer handling. Your responsibilities will include:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Courteously greet customers in Sales, Service, and Delivery, exemplifying VinFast’s customer-first philosophy
• Support Service Department in performing daily tasks
• Deliver vehicles between production, service and sales operations
• Support Parts Team with daily tasks such as, but not limited to, receiving parts, stocking shelves, and parts delivery
• Increase general productivity of the service center by supporting Advisors, Technicians, Parts
• Stage vehicles as needed
• Wash vehicles as needed
• Oversee lot organization and clean-up
• Other administrative and support functions as needed
• Provide customer convenience via vehicle pick up and delivery services
• Clean shop and perform miscellaneous tasks as required
• Other related duties as required

WHAT YOU BRING

• High School Diploma/GED or Relevant work experience
• Luxury experience, Electric Vehicle industry experience, start-up experience preferred but not required
• A capacity to creatively solve problems and think quickly in a busy, fast-paced environment
• A passion for customer service, and for the Electric Vehicle industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, ability to learn other systems as required
• Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract/record
• Able to stand for 8 hours and must be able to lift 50 pounds
