Job summary

Fountain Tire Kelowna is seeking a friendly and dedicated Service Advisor to join our automotive team in Kelowna, Canada. The role focuses on creating work orders, quoting services, and coordinating with technicians to ensure high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must.
• A team player who takes pride in their work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills to advise customers.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and arrange bookings and communicate them to technicians.
• Provide service quotes and obtain customer authorization for work; finalize sales and follow up.
• Make proactive calls to customers to assess satisfaction with the service received.
• Recommend tire services, wheel and mechanical services to customers.
• Ensure all products are billed accurately and enter data into the computer system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
