Fountain Tire Kelowna is seeking responsible Tire Technicians to join our team at 1952 Spall Rd - Unit 6. This full-time role involves installing, balancing, rotating tires, TPMS work, and maintaining equipment in a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive/tire industry experience is helpful but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing TPMS.
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regular basis.
• Completing specialty tire work such as studding, retread, or nitrogen services.
• Assist in inventory management and ensure safety for self and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Kelowna (1952 Spall Rd - Unit 6), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associates to join our team as Tire Technicians!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous automotive/tire industry experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
