Job summary

Fountain Tire Kelowna is looking for responsible tire technicians to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels for passenger and light trucks, while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or tire industry is preferred, but training is provided.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires is an asset.

• Ability to lift 25 kilograms and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels.
• Reset TPMS and maintain service equipment.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, nitrogen).
• Assist with inventory documentation and counts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Kelowna (1952 Spall Rd - Unit 6), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associates to join our team as Tire Technicians!

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Previous automotive/tire industry experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skillsAbility to consistently lift 25 kilograms
