Role Description

The Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Scarborough, ON, responsible for being the main point of contact between customers and the service department. Day-to-day, the Service Advisor welcomes customers, listens to their service concerns, and accurately documents repair requests and maintenance needs. This role involves preparing service estimates, explaining recommended work, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely completion of service orders. The Service Advisor follows up with customers on vehicle status, reviews invoices, and answers questions to ensure clarity and satisfaction. The position also includes scheduling service appointments, managing aftersales interactions, and contributing to a positive, efficient, and customer-centered service experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Service and Customer-focused Service, with a commitment to building positive, long-term relationships.
• Ability to promote and achieve high levels of Customer Satisfaction through responsive, reliable, and empathetic support.
• Clear and professional Communication skills, both in person and over phone/email, with the ability to explain technical information in everyday language.
• Experience in Aftersales or service advisory roles within automotive or related industries is an asset.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple service appointments and follow-ups efficiently.
• Comfort working with dealership management systems, scheduling tools, and basic computer applications.
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair terminology is preferred, with willingness to learn and stay current.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant certifications in automotive or customer service fields are an advantage.
