Job summary

Gray Collection, a hospitality group of local hotels and restaurants, seeks a server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages in the dining room.

You will collaborate with the dining room team to ensure an exceptional dining experience, requiring strong English and French communication, customer service, and ability to work evenings and weekends.

Candidates with at least one year of restaurant experience and teamwork mindset are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of restaurant industry experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Properly set up the dining room before service begins;
• Advise guests and take orders;
• Serve ordered food and beverages;
• Check on guest satisfaction whenever possible;
• Respond to all guest requests;
• Process billing and payment once the meal is completed;
• Ensure the cleanliness of their work area, the dining room, and the restrooms;
• Perform any other related duties necessary to ensure smooth service operations.

Job description

Operating in the hospitality and restaurant industry for nearly 50 years, Gray Collection is an award-winning group of authentically local hotels and restaurants that offer travelers from around the world the experience of friendly luxury. Among our establishments are Maggie Oakes, Jacopo, Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Pincette, Bevo Bar+Pizzeria, Restaurant Gaspar, Terrasse le Perché, Terrasse William Gray, and Terrasse sur l’Auberge.

The server advises guests, takes orders, and serves food and beverages in the dining room.

More generally, they work collaboratively with other dining room team members to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly set up the dining room before service begins;
• Advise guests and take orders;
• Serve ordered food and beverages;
• Check on guest satisfaction whenever possible;
• Respond to all guest requests;
• Process billing and payment once the meal is completed;
• Ensure the cleanliness of their work area, the dining room, and the restrooms;
