Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in the Canadian Rockies seeks a server to be an ambassador for exceptional service and cuisine, delivering warm, personal attention and knowledge of our Food & Beverage offerings to guests in our dining venues.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will assist guests with menu items, upsell, present courses, handle checks, clear and reset tables, and uphold brand standards while embracing luxury hospitality and a welcoming, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months a-la-carte serving experience required in the last 5 years.
• Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% or above.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with menu items and make recommendations
• Sell and up-sell food and beverage items in a positive manner
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods
• Deliver and present food items to guest tables
• Process guest checks efficiently
• Bus and re-set tables
• Perform opening, cleaning, and closing duties
• Handle guest concerns and recoveries according to brand standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected
• Other duties as assigned.
