Job summary

The Nash, located in the historic National Hotel in Inglewood, is seeking a Server to join our front of house team. You will provide outstanding service, take orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and bring a positive attitude. Weekend and varied shifts, growth opportunities, and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years serving experience at a high end restaurant/hotel/ or equivalent.
• Weekend/weekday / daytime/evening availability
• Strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• WSET Level 2 or equivalent considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to guests during brunch and lunch and dinner shifts.
• Take and process orders accurately, ensuring guests have all they need for an enjoyable meal.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and provide recommendations to guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
• Handle payments and manage cash transactions with precision.
• Uphold health and safety standards in all areas of service.
• Act as a key member of our service team, leading by example and helping to foster a collaborative environment.
