Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Strategist for urgent care clients. You will own technical SEO roadmaps, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table and make the calls.

You will manage technical audits, keyword strategy, and AI-assisted content creation with writers. Remote role open to Canada, USA, or other locations with multi-location needs, collaborating with a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes done personally.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients is a plus.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own Technical SEO aspects: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site structure.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Help clients appear in AI search results and traditional organic results.
• Build links, manage local and multi-location SEO as needed for clients.
• Create GA4 and Search Console reports and define quarterly roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Strategist, Urgent Care you own search for a book of urgent care clients (urgent care groups running many sites): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for urgent care or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
