Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an SEO Manager to own search strategy for urgent care clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking narrative. You will guide decisions as the strategic voice in client discussions.

With 3+ years of hands-on SEO and experience across multiple clients, you will coordinate with writers and AI, optimize for AI and traditional results, and deliver GA4/GC reporting to drive quarterly roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for urgent care or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers/AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage local/search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Provide reporting in GA4 and Search Console; plan quarterly roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Urgent Care you own search for a book of urgent care clients (urgent care groups running many sites): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
