• Write and revise operation and maintenance manuals and related technical documents.
• Follow departmental writing and editing procedures during document preparation.
• Provide instructions for supporting illustrations when required.
• Produce clear and structured documentation based on project specifications and standards.
• Meet assigned project priorities and documentation deadlines.
• Complete additional duties within the Technical Publications team.

• The candidate should possess knowledge about aircraft and naval and land military systems which include their mechanical and electrical and electronic components.
• The applicant gains advantages through his experience with technical publication tools which include Adobe FrameMaker and InDesign and Arbortext Epic Editor and Adobe Acrobat Pro and similar applications.
• The individual possesses excellent communication abilities together with precise attention to details.
• The person demonstrates his ability to think analytically while solving problems.
• The ability to write in both official languages is considered an advantage.
• Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program, U.S. ITAR compliance, and Canadian government security clearances.
