Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Canada seeks a Technical Writer to create and maintain high‑quality technical publications. You will plan, write, review, and QC documentation using engineering data from multiple sources while aligning to schedules and standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication skills, familiarity with publication processes, and experience with HTML/XML authoring. A DEC in aerospace or equivalent experience is preferred, with hybrid work options available.

• Research, plan, write, and QC technical publications from multiple sources.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Research, plan, write,andQCtechnical,maintenance or operationaldata using engineering and approved data from multiple sources, while ensuring adherence toschedule.
• Identifyand implement process and product improvements in line with thestrategic plan.
• Plan, perform and document procedural validations per departmental standards/guidelines, recommending and implementing best use of resources.
• Ensure customer and operator requests and issues are analyzed and satisfactorily responded to theoriginator.
• Coordinate and define publications book plan
• Define standards and requirements for creation, and for distribution of documentation in an electronic format specification (e.g.,S1000D, ATAetc…)
• Identify,evaluate,and define action plans and schedules to minimize risks to completion of the publications.

• You hold a college diploma (DEC) in aerospace or equivalent field or a minimum of three (3)yearsrelevant experience in TechnicalPublications.
• You havebackground inaircraftmaintenance,flightcrewor as a pilot (asset).
• You havestrong communicationskills (written and spoken).
• You are proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP (an asset.
• You have a detailed understanding of Technical Publications processes and technologies (an asset).
• Youhavebasicunderstanding ofS1000D and ATA specifications (an asset).
• You have good knowledge ofHTML,SGMLand XML authoring languages (an asset).
• You have experience in product development (an asset).
• You have experience in defining a troubleshootingmethodologyin ahigh technologyenvironment.
• You have knowledge and experience in any Bombardier Customer Services and Support (an asset).
• You have a good understanding of design procedures and Bombardier Aerospace Engineering System (an asset).
