Job summary

DNV Energy Systems seeks a Senior Renewable Energy Analytics & Performance Lead for its Wind Energy Assessment team. Based in Montreal with hybrid work options in Canada/US, you will advance data analytics, automate workflows, and drive technical excellence across utility-scale wind projects.

You will lead complex analyses, manage large datasets, and deliver defensible energy production estimates while mentoring engineers and collaborating with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to renewables or engineering.
• Seven years of directly relevant experience in renewable energy or engineering consulting.
• Strong programming skills for data processing and automation.
• Experience with wind resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale projects.
• Ability to lead analytical workflows and mentor analysts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze turbine and wind plant SCADA data to track power curves and energy yield.
• Lead wind energy assessments for utility-scale projects across North America.
• Develop and automate analytical workflows to improve project delivery.
• Prepare technical reports and client-facing deliverables with clear insights.
• Mentor analysts and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
