Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a senior Water Resources Engineer/Environmental Engineer to lead water resources projects within the Environmental Services group.

The role involves hydrologic and water quality work, business development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver complex projects for clients and communities. The candidate should bring 10+ years in water resources, professional licensure, and strong mentorship and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in engineering or relevant science is an asset.
• Licensed Professional Engineer/Geologist.
• Minimum 10 years of water resources experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water resources projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality components.
• Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and client relationship building.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on complex environmental projects.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards in all work.
