Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and deliver complex water-related civil projects in British Columbia. You will mentor staff, provide technical direction, and guide projects from scope to contract, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

The role requires licensing in BC (or ability to obtain) and at least 12 years of relevant experience, with strong client management and coordination skills across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in BC (or able to obtain EGBC).
• Minimum of 12 years of civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects of varying complexity and mentor team members.
• Provide technical leadership and act as Engineer-of-Record when needed.
• Manage project scope, budgets, and design approaches.
• Develop client relations, proposals, and project contracts in BC.
• Lead coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure QA/QC on own and peer projects.
