Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency serving veterinary groups, seeks a Head of Business Development for Veterinary. You will own the largest multi-location deals from initial meetings to signed contracts, handling a $2M annual quota with no direct reports.

This is an individual contributor role targeting veterinary groups across the USA and Canada. Your time will focus on closing strategic deals, with inbound leads and a dedicated sales development team feeding you qualified meetings.

Qualifications

• Proven track record closing $1M+ annual deals in multi-location accounts.
• Experience selling to veterinary groups or multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
• Prefer closing over people management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales cycle from discovery to close over 3–12 months.
• Negotiate with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders.
• Expand existing deals to additional locations and services.
• Collaborate with strategists to build compelling proposals.
