Job summary

The Ian Martin Group seeks a Senior UX/UI Power Platform Specialist to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of business applications within the Microsoft Power Platform.

This hands-on role blends UX/UI design, application development, workflow automation, accessibility, and stakeholder collaboration. You will translate business requirements into intuitive, accessible solutions, mentor teammates, and help establish UX/UI and development standards, including AODA compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Copilot.
• Experience designing complex business applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong experience applying user-centred design (UCD) principles to architectures and interfaces.
• Experience implementing software solutions that meet AODA accessibility requirements.
• Experience developing application workflows and process automation.
• Experience conducting code/solution reviews and applying development best practices.
• Experience working within an Agile SDLC and knowledge of Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of complex business applications using the Power Platform.
• Design intuitive interfaces based on user needs and standards.
• Translate business requirements into practical application solutions.
• Develop and manage workflows to automate processes.
• Create prototypes, user stories, personas, and UX deliverables.
• Apply UCD, design thinking, and UX principles throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead workshops to ensure AODA compliance.
• Coach and mentor team members on UX/UI, accessibility, and best practices.
• Review code and ensure adherence to standards.
• Document solutions and contribute to UX/UI guidelines.
