Job summary

Equitable, a Canadian mutual company, is seeking a UX Designer to shape digital experiences for Individual Wealth. The role involves partnering with product, technology and business teams to translate user insights into journeys, wireframes and prototypes, with a focus on accessible, responsive design.

You will conduct discovery from research to delivery, champion user needs, and collaborate across regions and Agile squads to drive improvements and consistent experiences.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in UX, digital or product design with a strong portfolio.
• Experience in responsive design and accessibility practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with product and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex needs into simple, intuitive digital experiences.
• Lead UX design from discovery through testing and delivery.
• Conduct user research to understand client and advisor needs.
• Create journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Test designs with users and iterate based on feedback.
• Design accessible experiences meeting accessibility standards.
• Apply responsive design across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology and business teams.
• Work with Agile teams to reflect design intent.
• Use data and user feedback to identify improvements.
