Job summary

Powell is seeking a Senior UX Designer based in Toronto to lead GUI design and user research for web and mobile projects. You will drive UX projects, run workshops with stakeholders, and translate research into sitemaps, flows, wireframes and prototypes, ensuring user-centered results.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accessible, intuitive interfaces across digital touchpoints, while advocating best practices in UX design and usability testing.

Qualifications

• Must have experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
• Experience as UX/UI designer for web and mobile applications.
• Ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops with stakeholders.
• Experience conducting user research and translating findings into sitemaps, flows and prototypes.
• Clear communication of design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work with Ontario Design System or similar design systems.

Responsibilities

• Create effective, user-friendly interfaces and iterate based on user testing.
• Design interfaces for digital displays, publications, media and other materials as required.
• Translate user research into sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes and prototypes.
