Senior UX Designer Toronto, ON | Hybrid/Onsite
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to support a Public sector digital services initiative in Toronto.
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end UX research and design activities across web and mobile applications.
Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, diary studies, A/B testing, card sorting, and other research methods.
Translate research insights into information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Facilitate UX workshops, ideation sessions, stakeholder alignment, and product/service design discussions.
Design functional, intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging user experiences across multiple devices and interfaces.
Use Figma, Canvas, and similar UX/design and prototyping tools to develop and iterate design solutions.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and QA throughout the design lifecycle.
Simplify complex processes and technical information into clear, user-focused content and experiences.
Apply accessibility best practices, including WCAG 2.1 AA, accessibility testing, and inclusive design principles.
Experience with the Ontario Design System, Digital Service Standard, legacy systems, and Ontario Public Service environments is highly desirable.
Toronto-based candidates must be available to work onsite 5 days per week.
