Job summary

KEV Group in Toronto is seeking a hands-on Sr. Test Automation Engineer to support a growing SaaS platform.

This hybrid role spans functional and automation testing, and you’ll own the full testing lifecycle—from requirements analysis and test design to building and maintaining automation with Playwright and Selenium. You’ll help shift quality left, catch issues early, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design and DevOps to embed quality into every sprint in a fast-paced Agile

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
5+ years of software QA across functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Strong experience in test automation using Playwright and Selenium.
Hands-on API testing and automation using Playwright and Postman.
Strong SQL and data validation against backend systems.
Fluency with Jira and Confluence, Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure preferred.
Sharp analytical skills and self-driven attitude.
Clear communicator across developers, PMs, and product.

Responsibilities

Own testing lifecycle from requirements to automation assets.
Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory tests.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks with Playwright and Selenium.
Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios; perform cross-browser testing.
Validate REST APIs, data contracts, and error handling.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and DevOps.
