Job summary

TD in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is seeking a software quality engineer with 5+ years of Java development and test automation to contribute to engineering programs. You will develop new features, write unit and component tests, and collaborate with technology partners to ensure performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include peer code reviews, incident management support, and building robust automation using Playwright, Selenium, and API testing.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Java development and test automation.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
Proficiency with TypeScript and modern automation tools.
Familiarity with Playwright, CI/CD, and API testing.
Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop new solutions for engineering programs and projects within assigned area.
Develop new features and perform unit / component tests for new applications.
Support business inquiries and enhancements through break/fix implementations and peer code reviews.
Work with partners to meet application requirements and performance goals.
Analyze technical requirements to propose pragmatic engineering solutions.
Participate in quality reviews and maintain high-quality code.
