Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our Toronto-area team. The role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Java/Selenium, and TOSCA to validate web applications and APIs.

You will work with development, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile environment, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure quality at scale across projects in a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in test automation using Playwright for modern web applications.
• Hands-on expertise in Java-based Selenium automation frameworks.
• Experience in TOSCA automation (model-based/codeless testing).
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automation suites.
• Experience with API testing, test data setup, and backend validation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration, Agile/Scrum delivery, and defect management.
• Ability to collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality at scale.
