Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a customer-focused Technical Writer in Canada to design, develop, and evolve product documentation. You will collaborate with Engineering, UX, Support, and Marketing to translate complex technical specifications into intuitive user assistance.

You will champion a customer-first content strategy, leverage modern authoring tools and AI to continuously improve content delivery and process efficiency, and support end-to-end documentation across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1+ years in technical writing or 3+ years experience.
• Experience delivering multi-format publications and online content.
• Proficiency with MadCap Flare and HTML-first documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve product documentation for multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Support, and Marketing to transform complex specs.
• Create structured, customer-focused content and champion content strategy.
• Refine processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
• Maintain end-to-end documentation across portfolios and product lifecycles.
