THE POSITION

Keyera is currently seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Analyst to join our Calgary-based Enterprise Technology Products team. Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Technology Delivery, this role is responsible for ensuring the technical health, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology solutions. The role operates across both operational support and delivery, actively driving incident resolution and root cause analysis of problems, while also leading and executing technical design and implementation activities. This role is expected to be focused on Maximo related technical design and implementation but may also expand into other complex applications. You will lead complex technical troubleshooting efforts, provide hands-on analysis and development support, and collaborate across business, vendor, and digital teams to deliver high-value, reliable solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor analysts and contribute to improving team practices and capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational Support & Incident Management Lead the triage, coordination, and resolution of complex incidents impacting Maximo and other enterprise systems. Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative solutions. Own issue resolution end-to-end, including communication, escalation, and cross-functional collaboration with other digital teams (e.g. Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and external partners). Identify recurring issues and drive improvements to overall system stability, performance and support practices. Support operational readiness, disaster recovery planning, and system reliability activities.
• Technical Analysis & Solution Delivery Analyze business and technical requirements to design scalable, effective solution options. Lead and/or deliver the implementation of system enhancements, integrations, and new solutions. Provide technical expertise and guidance into strategic product roadmaps including assessment of new opportunities for technical complexity and risk. Perform hands-on technical work including scripting, configuration, automation, and troubleshooting. Ensure solution delivery is aligned with enterprise architecture, design standards, and best practices. Support testing, deployment, and transition to operations activities.
• Continuous Improvement & Solution Ownership Act as a technical subject matter expert for Maximo and other assigned systems/applications. Proactively identify and implement improvements to system performance, usability, and reliability. Contribute to backlog prioritization and enhancement planning with product and business stakeholders. Drive automation and efficiency improvements across support and delivery processes. Provide input into enterprise-wide design standards and best practices.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across key domains. Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot issues, coordinate releases, and influence product improvements. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, Delivery, Data, and Infrastructure. Communicate complex technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership & Mentorship Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate analysts. Lead by example in ownership, accountability, and problem-solving. Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and team capability development. Support the evolution of standards, best practices, and ways of working within the Technical Solutions function.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Technical Skills Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities within Maximo and other complex systems. Experience delivering and supporting Maximo configurations, integrations, and data flows. Hands-on experience with scripting, automation, and development (e.g., SQL, PowerShell, APIs and beyond). Strong understanding of system architecture, environments, and support models. Ongoing experience with ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management).
• Leadership & Communication Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business audiences. Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and navigate complex stakeholder environments. Experience mentoring or coaching team members. Strong ownership mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered. 8+ years of technical, hands-on experience with Maximo design, development and implementation across a variety of business processes/functions. 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with a focus on enterprise application support, systems integration, and technical solution delivery.
