Job summary

Sirius Personnel is assisting a client in Montreal to hire a senior technical inside sales representative. The role blends customer service, order entry, sourcing of products and sales for pipes, fittings and valves.

The position is hybrid in Montreal, with base salary 80,000–110,000 CAD and a 20–25% annual bonus based on company results; extensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of inside sales or related experience in the piping industry.
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of pipes, fittings and valves.
• Industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, quotations, returns and inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Provide timely, accurate product information and technical support.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling and upselling.
• Prepare pricing, credit arrangements and sales terms in accordance with company policies and customer account requirements.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and coordinate follow-ups or expedited shipments when necessary.
• Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records and respond to requests for product information, catalogs and samples.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain shipment updates and expected delivery dates.
