Job Summary
This role focuses on developing and executing recruitment strategies to meet high-volume hiring needs. Responsible for executing the end-to-end recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates to onboarding new employees. Establish and maintain professional relations with applicants, hiring managers, employment agencies, and all stakeholders relevant to the talent acquisition process.
Summary of Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy in partnership with managers at different hierarchical levels to address current and future high-volume hiring needs across diverse manufacturing roles.
- Guide managers in determining their needs in terms of experience, skills, and knowledge to build high-performance teams.
- Source candidates internally and externally through various communication channels, including internal advertisements, company careers page, external job boards, and referral programs.
- Conduct preliminary screening interviews and facilitate the interview process with hiring managers.
- Manage background verification, salary negotiation, and offer finalization processes for selected candidates.
- Oversee the new employee integration process, including HR orientation sessions and key stages of onboarding.
- Conduct surveys to gather feedback on the onboarding process, analyze data, and implement improvements.
- Build relationships with active and passive candidates through networking, partnerships with educational institutions, and social networks.
- Develop, compile, and report key metrics related to talent acquisition, onboarding, and employer branding activities.
- Manage and execute projects related to talent attraction, employer branding, candidate experience, and organizational visibility.
- Act as liaison with external recruitment firms as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends and developments to proactively source talent.
- Collaborate with other HR functions to support HR processes, projects, and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Talent Acquisition, preferably in manufacturing.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP and Kronos is an asset.
