Job summary

LeverageTek Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for an 18-month contract to support Ottawa/Toronto area operations. Role is primarily remote with on-site meetings as needed to align with project milestones and governance.

The candidate will drive enterprise infrastructure initiatives across AD, virtualization, Entra ID, and Intune while advancing security and compliance programs. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in regulated environments, strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune.
• Experience supporting vulnerability management and security remediation activities including patch management, system hardening, and configuration changes.
• Must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Reliability security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and administration of enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory environments, including user, group, and policy administration.
• Support VMware virtualization environments and related infrastructure activities.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Intune solutions.
• Participate in endpoint management initiatives, including mobile device management (MDM) rollouts.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives focused on vulnerability management, including patch management, system hardening, configuration updates, and registry and security-related changes.
• Assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and other technical stakeholders on security improvement initiatives.
• Participate in infrastructure projects, enhancements, and operational improvements.
• Follow established change management processes and contribute to maintaining a controlled production environment.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for an 18-month contract position with its Ottawa/Toronto based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work primarily remote in the Greater Toronto and Great Ottawa Area but the successful candidate may be expected to be onsite for critical team / project meetings when required.

Key Tasks

Qualifications

• Experience working in highly structured or regulated environments such as financial services, government, or large enterprise organizations
• Experience supporting cybersecurity‑driven initiatives and familiarity with vulnerability management tools and remediation processes
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional technical teams
• Understanding of enterprise IT governance and operational processes
• Self‑starter who works independently with minimal supervision and takes ownership of technical tasks
• Strong communicator able to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Process‑oriented with an appreciation for change management and governance practices

Compensation

Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
