Job summary
Tri Innovations in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural team on midstream, bulk handling, transportation, and renewable projects. This full-time position requires a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, P.Eng eligibility, and 10+ years of experience.
You will prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, and bid evaluations; review shop drawings; coordinate with staff and external consultants; and contribute to value engineering while upholding
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University.
- Registered with APEGA, or provincial body elsewhere in Canada, eligible for P.Eng.
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience; lead experience is asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian building codes and standards; relevant industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the structural engineering team in developing project deliverables.
- Prepare drawings, calculations, equipment specifications, datasheets, and cost estimates.
- Review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs; prepare site observation reports.
