TBT Engineering seeks a senior structural engineer to lead a range of building projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams in a growth-oriented firm. You will design and analyze steel, concrete, timber, and composite systems while ensuring code compliance and high-quality documentation.

The ideal candidate has a P.Eng. or eligibility and 10+ years of experience with civil/structural design, leadership, and mentoring. The role is full-time with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• P.Eng. or eligible for licensure; 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with structural design and modeling software; knowledge of building codes and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects for building structures.
• Design, analyze, and detail steel, concrete, timber and composite systems.
• Prepare and review drawings, specs, calculations, and construction docs.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers and regulators for project delivery.
• Mentor junior/intermediate staff and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and municipal requirements.
• Contribute to proposals and business development through client input.
