The Business Convergence and Commerce team delivers exceptional business value through converged technology solutions that power key business priorities at TELUS across all lines of business, brands, and segments.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join the Signature Programs team to shape the future of our distribution channels. This role involves defining and implementing strategic initiatives in TELUS owned & independent channels (Dealer, National Retail) to achieve strategic objectives for TELUS Consumer & Business Solutions.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for creating the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmaps for our distribution channels. Your responsibilities include opportunity evaluations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the prioritization and delivery of capabilities and experiences for our customers and sales teams. Specific tasks include:

  • Spearheading the creation and execution of comprehensive channel strategies for new initiatives
  • Creating and maintaining detailed channel roadmaps and delivery plans
  • Participating in capital planning, creating business cases, securing funding, forecasting budgets, and managing program finances
  • Facilitating resource interlock sessions for cross-functional alignment
  • Providing regular updates on the channel roadmap and socializing them with stakeholders
  • Engaging with stakeholders to maintain strategic alignment and secure buy-in
  • Monitoring and updating strategic outlooks, identifying trends, and anticipating future needs
  • Managing opportunity evaluations and assessing potential initiatives
  • Representing channel capital initiatives and advocating for their support
  • Owning specific projects within the channel roadmap, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
Qualifications

  • Data-driven decision-maker
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Ability to quantify goals and results in strategy creation and implementation
  • University degree in business, commerce, or related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience
Great-to-haves
  • Experience in telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of front-line and sales processes
  • Experience working with development teams and understanding of technology development processes
