The Technology Strategy function is at the center of establishing and executing on technology strategy. This primary mandate includes leading the development and execution of strategy within Personal Banking & Digital Technology (PB&DT). The role will oversee technology strategy, drive strategic initiatives across PB&DT, and provide support & thought leadership for the development of technology strategies.

Job Summary

As Sr. Manager of Technology Strategy, you will be part of the Technology Strategy organization, managing the development and execution of strategy in Personal Banking & Digital Technology at RBC. You will collaborate with technology and business senior executives to define and drive strategic vision, address challenges, and lead initiatives for PB&DT.

What will you do?

• Drive strategic initiatives, including developing technology strategies, plans, scope, approach, and roadmaps for PB&DT
• Collaborate with senior executives and leaders to provide expertise, thought leadership, and act as a strategic advisor
• Develop executive-level materials for senior leadership and C-suite
• Partner with enterprise leaders to drive strategic initiatives across Personal Banking & Digital Technology
• Lead executive meetings on strategic topics and initiatives
• Drive thought leadership and benchmarking in technology landscapes and trends

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in Strategy with a top-tier consulting firm
• 5+ years of experience in Technology and Financial Services / Banking
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or technology-related fields
• MBA or comparable professional degree
• Strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Leadership, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with senior executive stakeholders to lead discussions and meetings
