Job summary

Warner Music Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Alberta to maintain, modernize, and innovate core engineering applications across our music publishing lifecycle. You will tackle complex royalty processing, rights management, and licensing problems with mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring peers while driving continuous improvement and on-call incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CS or related field.
• Hands-on senior engineer who writes code and reviews.
• Strong communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintainable, scalable solutions for core engineering applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other eng teams on requirements and data engineering.
• Own deliverables end-to-end and mentor other engineers.
• Respond to incidents and drive root-cause analysis.
