Job summary

Warner Music Group in Canada is seeking a Software Engineer to maintain, modernize, and innovate core engineering applications powering our music publishing lifecycle. You will tackle rights management, contracts, royalty processing, and licensing with a strong, collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of Java experience, a full-stack background, and a focus on clean, scalable code. AWS experience and a propensity for mentoring peers are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of Java experience with solid full-stack capabilities.
• Commitment to maintainable, high-quality code and strong design judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own features through full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Write clean, optimized, and reusable code with good test coverage.
• Deliver work following best practices and create technical design documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with peers and leaders.
