Job summary

Warner Music Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a Forward Deployed Engineering team embedded in business units. You will drive end-to-end AI optimization, define operating playbooks, and ensure reusable delivery patterns across platforms and data teams.

You will coach engineers, partner with product owners and sponsors, and translate complex requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions that align with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML delivery.
• 2+ years managing engineers in a forward deployed or matrixed environment.
• Defined, scaled, and maintained operational playbooks for intake, routing, and delivery.
• Experience with reusable assets, developer tooling, and production governance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, coach, and manage a high‑performing FDE team embedded in lines of business.
• Define and scale the FDE technical operating playbook and intake criteria.
• Turn ambiguous processes into repeatable frameworks used by sponsors.
• Align engineers, product owners, sponsors, and executives on standards and roadmaps.
• Champion reusable assets and tooling to reduce reinventing and maintain production ownership.
• Set the bar for AI optimization across enterprise frameworks and governance.
