Job summary

Warner Music Group is seeking a Software Engineer to maintain, modernize, and innovate core engineering applications across our music publishing lifecycle. You’ll tackle rights management, contract administration, royalty processing, and licensing management with mission-critical systems.

Join a collaborative, fast-paced team and own features through the full development lifecycle. You will write clean, scalable code, adhere to best practices, and create solid design docs while mentoring peers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience with Java and solid full-stack development.
• Maintains code quality; reviews peers' code and contributes to design discussions.
• Strong operational excellence: testing, monitoring, paging, and incident management.
• Experience shipping features with scalability and performance in mind.
• Team player with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Own features through full development lifecycle, including design, creation, test, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write clean, optimized and reusable code.
• Deliver work following established standards and best practices, such as test automation, test coverage, etc.
• Create clear, comprehensive technical design documents.
• Take advantage of mentorship from more experienced engineers, and mentor more junior engineers.
