The SMT Process Engineer will lead the SMT team, set up and maintain automated equipment, and collaborate with engineering and NPI to optimize quality and delivery. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in electronics contract manufacturing and/or SMT PCB assembly.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Account Managers, Production Assistants, NPI team, QA Manager and management to improve efficiency and first pass yields.
• Lead continuous improvement of production processes to reduce defects and cycle time.
• Analyze defect data and implement measures to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
• Develop and modify tooling, fixtures, and processes for SMT, SPI, AOI, and ovens.
• Provide training and technical support to engineers, technicians, and operators.
