Job description

We have an exciting opportunity available for an initiative-taking individual to join the Padagis team as our Senior Shared Services Specialist Analyst in Allegan, MI or Wyoming, MI office. This role will report directly to the Shared Services Manager and will be a valued member of the finance team. Emphasis will be on accounts receivable/collections. This role is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Job duties:

  • Manage portfolio of more complex, large customers/receivables
  • Maintain customers' accounts within established procedures, taking appropriate action to secure payments, resolve discrepancies, etc.
  • Research/resolve deductions in a timely manner
  • Review daily credit holds of accounts within portfolio
  • Complete maintenance of AR customers
  • Assist with process improvements
  • Fulfill yearly audit requests

Required qualifications:

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Collections, preferably including experience in a manufacturing company
  • Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of financial ERP systems (like SAP)
  • Accounts Receivable Expertise: Solid understanding of AR accounting functions, providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers in resolving outstanding receivables.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong technical and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex accounting situations. Attention to detail is essential.
  • Process Analysis and Insights: Ability to identify necessary process improvements and implement best practices in accounts receivable.
  • Time Management: Strong time and project management skills to handle multiple deadlines, priorities, and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active Collaboration: Ability to work across teams, functions, business units, and geographies to achieve success and solve problems collaboratively.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate degree in accounting or finance
  • SAP experience
