Job summary

Stone, a BearCom Company, is seeking an experienced security technician to lead a small team on high‑level installations. You will program access control, intrusion, and video management systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and document outcomes clearly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a technician role or equivalent in low voltage/electrical industry
• High School Diploma or Vocational Training
• Low voltage license and video management certification (Milestone)
• Access control certification (Lenel S2)
• Intrusion system certification
• Valid driver’s license and lift certification
• OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications
• Advanced knowledge of security systems and networking
• Ability to program access/ intrusion panels and VMS
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Ability to train others and document clearly
• Willingness to travel and on-call duties
• Lead a small team and develop technicians

Responsibilities

• Upgrade and program access control, intrusion, and video management systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve security system issues
• Mentor and train other technicians
• Prepare accurate and succinct written documentation
• Travel as required and work on-call shifts
• Lead a team of at least 2 technicians on multiple projects
• Maintain professional demeanor and multi-task efficiently
