Job summary

The New Age Group is seeking a Senior Security Systems Technician to lead advanced installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting across access control, surveillance, and fiber optics. You will ensure quality workmanship, meet customer requirements, and mentor junior technicians.

You will oversee complex projects, review installation workmanship, perform QA inspections, support manufacturer training, and provide technical escalation support while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in commercial security systems.
• Experience with access control, video surveillance, and structured cabling.
• Advanced troubleshooting across security systems and networks.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior technicians.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced installations, commissioning, and testing of security systems.
• Mentor Apprentices, Labourers, and junior technicians.
• Review installation quality and workmanship; coordinate projects.
• Support commissioning, escalations, and manufacturer training initiatives.
• Conduct QA inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
