Job description

Contract Terms:

6 Months (1x 6 Month Extension Available)

Hours:

Full Time (37.5 Hours / week)

Start Date:

May 15th, 2025

End Date:

November 14th, 2025

Work Location:

Remote, Canada - must be willing and able to work PST Hours for the duration of the contract.

Project Description:

To work under the direction of the Senior Manager of Governance, Assessment, and Awareness with other client team members to analyze, report on, and act upon cybersecurity projects and events within the organization.

This role will participate in various security-related meetings, including discussions on data analytics, authentication, and risk management. It will also contribute to the development of security services and solution architecture for the end client.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide risk management subject matter expertise to the organization and projects.
  • Perform Security Threat Risk Assessments as required to support organizational and project activities.
  • Raise risks and describe them in business-friendly language; collaborate with stakeholders on risk management and mitigation options.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline and enhance the risk management process.
  • Provide strategic cybersecurity guidance to the PHSA Information Security team.
  • Draft, update, and improve security policies, standards, and procedures.
