As a Senior Business Analyst with Salesforce expertise, you will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring clear documentation and communication of business requirements and vision. You will leverage your project experience to analyze needs, facilitate communication among stakeholders, support project delivery, and act as a positive change agent within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure requirements are thoroughly documented and understood, adding value and consistency to user experience, with experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  2. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to gather requirements and manage expectations.
  3. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, conduct training, and support user adoption of Salesforce enhancements.
  4. Monitor training effectiveness and KPIs to ensure successful change initiatives.
  5. Maintain a strong knowledge of the product backlog and ensure requirements are translated into appropriate digital solutions.
  6. Support project teams in overcoming obstacles, minimizing business process impact.
  7. Manage project tasks from inception to deployment, including tracking, process mapping, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  8. Assist with testing, implementation, and transition to steady-state maintenance.
  9. Contribute artifacts to meet Scotiabank’s Enterprise Delivery Framework, including business cases and cost/benefit analyses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Effective leadership skills, with the ability to assume ownership during project execution.
  2. Knowledge of training methodologies tailored to business needs.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills across organizational levels.
  4. Experience with the project lifecycle and various methodologies.
  5. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience managing end-to-end technology products.
  7. Familiarity with Agile principles.
  8. CBAP or similar BA certification preferred.
  9. Degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  10. 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in back-office environments.
  11. Experience with Salesforce and relevant certifications preferred.
  12. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Visio, JIRA/Confluence.
