Job summary

Macdonald Search Group partners with a BC food manufacturer, distributor and protein supplier to seek a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth across multiple retail channels. You will lead the retail sales team, translate company objectives into annual plans, and build relationships with key customers in butcher shops, regional and national accounts.

You bring 4–6+ years in Food/CPG/Meat, 3+ years of leadership, and a data-driven approach to commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of progressive experience in Food / CPG / Meat.
• 3+ years of formal people leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring & developing sales teams.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making and commercial strategy.
• Protein experience is a major bonus!

Responsibilities

• Lead the retail sales team across channels and establish clear priorities.
• Own and execute the retail sales strategy across butcher shops, regional and national accounts.
• Translate company objectives into annual sales plans and lead or support key customer relationships.
• Represent the company credibly with independent retailers, national accounts, distributors, brokers and leadership.
