Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a Regional Manager, Distribution Sales to drive commercial performance and growth across protein categories in Canada. You will build strong customer partnerships and translate customer needs into winning Maple Leaf solutions.

You will lead within BC Interior, manage P&L, and develop aligned business plans with cross-functional teams. A university degree and 5+ years in Foodservice sales are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Foodservice sales experience.
• University degree in business or related area.
• Excellent business and financial acumen.
• Consistency in delivering results focusing on profitability.
• Ability to synthesize data, insights and inferences into actionable strategies.
• Deep industry and market knowledge.
• Ability to influence cross-functional resources to identify and solve strategic issues.
• Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead selling efforts within the B.C. Interior and manage Independents across B.C.
• Manage and deliver P&L objectives including Volume, Sales, and Gross Profit.
• Develop joint customer business plans aligned with the Foodservice strategy and objectives.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Distribution, Finance, and Supply Chain to meet objectives.
• Build knowledge of competitors and trends and integrate into strategic recommendations.
• Forecast and deliver budgets for the function with control of direct trade spend.
