Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Engineer – Roads & Highways to support municipal roads and highway projects in the Greater Toronto Area. You will lead design, coordinate disciplines, provide technical direction, and mentor staff to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities include developing design concepts, construction staging, traffic management, and adherence to provincial standards. Strong skills in Civil 3D, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and project coordination are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
8+ years of roads/highways experience, MTO/municipal projects preferred.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng), preferably with PEO.
Proficiency in Civil design software (Civil 3D, OpenRoads, AutoCAD).
Strong communication and mentoring skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of municipal roads and highways projects in the GTA.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction.
Prepare technical reports, schedules, and tender documents.
Mentor Associate/Intermediate Engineers and junior staff.
Ensure designs meet TAC/OTMP/OPSS/municipal standards and client requirements.
