Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Senior Engineer (or Senior Designer) with extensive experience in municipal linear infrastructure in the GTA. The role combines design through construction oversight, with emphasis on water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

Based in the GTA, the position operates in a hybrid model, requiring collaboration with City of Toronto, Region of Peel, and Mississauga, and coordination with utilities and regulators to deliver high‑impact projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• 10–15 years of municipal linear infrastructure experience (water, sanitary, storm).
• Proven design experience on major municipal projects in Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and underground sequencing.
• Experience working with GTA municipalities and related agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal infrastructure projects from concept through design and construction.
• Review and supervise engineering deliverables (plans, profiles, specs, cost estimates).
• Coordinate with clients (City of Toronto, Region of Peel, Mississauga) and utilities.
• Provide technical leadership on constructability, risk, and design decisions; oversee trenchless methods (microtunneling, HDD, pipe bursting).
• Manage RFIs, change orders, site support, and mentor staff.
