Job summary

WESTERN CANADA LOTTERY CORPORATION is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day execution and performance of the retail network. You will drive operational excellence across retailer support, engagement, field execution, and program management, partnering with provincial stakeholders and internal teams to grow sales and improve retailer satisfaction.

The role requires strong analytics, cross-functional leadership, and a track record of managing large-scale retail programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in retail operations, CPG, or sales operations
• Experience managing retail programs across multiple locations or territories
• Experience partnering with retailers to drive sales and improve execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across operations, marketing, product, logistics, and technology
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related discipline preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and continuous improvement of retail operations programs, processes and standards across the WCLC retail network
• Manage retailer performance programs including communications, issue resolution, engagement initiatives, sales contests, recognition programs and operational support
• Partner with provincial and territorial stakeholders to identify opportunities and improve retailer execution
• Lead retail performance reporting and analysis with actionable insights
• Oversee retail inventory coordination including terminal deployment and equipment readiness
• Support National Gateway initiatives, technology upgrades and retail transformation projects
• Lead field execution standards, retailer audits and retailer experience assessments
• Build strong relationships with provincial partners and stakeholders to enable collaboration and excellence
• Coach and develop team members fostering accountability and continuous improvement
