Job summary

You will lead onsite teams, optimize occupancy, manage budgets, and ensure tenant satisfaction through proactive communications and strong vendor relationships. This role requires a proven track record in high-volume residential management, bilingual English/French capabilities, and a commitment to high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in residential property management.
• Experience leading onsite teams in high-volume environment.
• Experience with leasing, renewals, collections, resident relations and occupancy optimization.
• Experience in budgeting and monthly reporting.
• Strong understanding of building operations.
• Vendor, contractor and service provider management experience.
• Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and overall management of the residential property.
• Ensure high resident satisfaction and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop strategies to maximize occupancy and rental revenue.
• Manage resident communications, requests, concerns, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor operating expenses, budgets, and financial performance.
• Review accounts receivable and support rent collection.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and ensure proper maintenance of systems.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Conduct regular property inspections and maintain high standards.
• Identify ways to improve operational efficiency and resident experience.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate actions for residents and property.
• Represent the property professionally and foster a welcoming community.
• Maintain knowledge of local market through regular competitor visits.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, and supervision of onsite team (admin, leasing, maintenance, security, housekeeping).
• Manage accounts receivable procedures as required by the Quebec Rental Board.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
